Full Report: Lake of the Arbuckles: Elevation below normal, water 84 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on crankbaits, topwater lures, worms and swim baits from the surface to 15 ft. around brush structure, weed beds and the main lake; topwater action only at first light then use crankbaits or 8-inch worms on a Carolina rig. White bass fair on topwater lures, grubs and small roadrunner type lures from the surface to 15 ft. along riprap, the main lake and points; white bass are chasing minnows and shad in open water and along the dam. Crappie fair on grubs, jigs and hair jigs at 21-32 ft. around brush structure and creek channels; best on breezy overcast days. Channel catfish fair on dough bait and minnows at 21 ft. around baited holes. Bluegill and sunfish good on topwater lures and poppers in shaded shallow areas in late evening. Full Report: Lake of the Arbuckles: Elevation below normal, water 83. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, jigs and jerk baits in pearl and chartreuse from the surface to 15 ft. around brush structure, points, rocks and moss beds early morning and overcast days with some wind are best. Smallmouth bass slow on topwater lures in pearl and orange belly from the surface to 4 ft. in the main lake and around points at first light. White bass and crappie good on lipless baits, crankbaits and grubs from the surface to 12 ft. in the main lake, shorelines and the main lake. Crappie fair on lipless baits, crankbaits, grubs and hair jigs at 12-22 ft. around brush structure, weed beds and marked brush piles. Crappie fair on hair jigs, tube jigs, minnows and grubs in chartreuse/white and chartreuse/brown at 15-25 ft. around brush structure, creek channels, weed beds and state maintained brush piles. White bass fair on crankbaits, lipless baits, topwater lures, slabs and small roadrunner baits in white/pearl from the surface to 12 ft. around the points, riprap, weed beds and open water while chasing shad on the surface early morning. Largemouth and spotted bass slow on topwater lures, jigs and tube jigs in watermelon seed from the surface to 15 ft. in the river channel, weed beds and brush structure; best on topwater lures and shallow crankbaits off points early morning. Channel catfish good on dough bait and minnows on bottom in 22 ft. of water in creek channels and baited holes. Largemouth and spotted bass slow on crankbaits, topwater lures, worms and blue fleck power worms from the surface to 15 ft. in the main lake, around points and weed beds. Smallmouth bass slow on yellow magic topwater lures at the surface around points at first light. Crappie fair on chartreuse/white tube jigs, spoons, minnows and jigs at 15-29 ft. in creek channels and brush structure. White bass fair on topwater lures, small lures, lipless baits and roadrunner with a white grub. Channel catfish good on dough bait in the main lake and baited holes up Guy Sandy and Rock creeks. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on flukes, tube jigs, jigs and swim baits at 2-12 ft. along flats, brush structure, rocks and creek channels early morning and late evening. White bass good on crankbaits, topwater lures, small lures, slabs and 1/8 oz. white roadrunners from the surface to 6 ft. along flats, points and the main lake in open water chasing shad.
