Full Report: Missouri River: (Sioux City to Little Sioux) Channel Catfish - Slow: Fishing has been slow due to recent high water on the Missouri a few channel catfish are being caught rod and reel and on trotlines. Dip baits, worms, chubs and cutbait are baits of choice. Flathead Catfish - Slow: A few flathead catfish are being caught on trotlines and rod and reel. Live baits or fresh cutbait works best. Sauger - Fair: A few walleye and sauger are being reported caught use jigs with or without live bait. Walleye - Fair: A few walleye and sauger are being reported caught use jigs with or without live bait.

(Little Sioux to Council Bluffs) Channel Catfish - Slow: Fishing for channel catfish should start picking up after the recent high water ramps are opening up and anglers are getting out on Missouri River. Try dip bait, worms, chubs, and cutbaits. Flathead Catfish - Slow: Anglers are starting to get back out on the Missouri to fish for flatheads. A few fish are being caught on live baits and fresh cutbait.

(Council Bluffs to Missouri State Line) Channel Catfish - Slow: Anglers are getting back out on the Missouri fishing should pick up for channel catfish. Try worms, dip bait, chubs, and cutbait for success. Flathead Catfish - Slow: Flathead anglers are buying bait and getting out on the River not much of a report with the high water conditions. Try live bait and fresh cutbaits for the best success.

Full Report: Wapsipinicon River: (Troy Mills to Oxford Junction) Channel Catfish - Good: Nice sized fish are being caught by those willing to brave the heat and find them.

(Tripoli to Troy Mills) The Wapsipinicon River remains at around 4.5 feet and holding steady. There have been no reports but smallmouth bass and channel catfish have been doing well on other interior rivers. Channel Catfish - Fair: Stinkbait or cutbaits have been the items of choice for most anglers catching cats. Smallmouth Bass - Fair: Artificial baits or live bait drifted under a bobber are a sure bet for smallies.
