Full Report: Jumbo Reservoir - As of 2/1/2014 ice thickness varied from skim ice to 2”, depending on location. Recent cold weather and snow may create some fishable ice, but anglers are urged to use extra caution when venturing out onto the ice. Ice fishing for walleye, crappie, and channel catfish has been slow for the few anglers who have fished through the ice. Ice fishing for trout should be good this season. Approximately 10,000 catchable trout were stocked in 2013.

Full Report: Jumbo Reservoir - As of 12/9/2013 ice was 4” thick. However, ice conditions may change quickly due to warm weather. Please use extra caution when venturing out onto the ice. Ice fishing for walleye, crappie, and channel catfish has been slow for the few anglers who have fished through the ice. Ice fishing for trout should be good this season. Jumbo requires an annual fishing/hunting license, or an annual state wildlife access permit to enter Jumbo, per person ages 19 to 64. The minimum size for walleye andwipers is 15 inches.
